Jacob & Co Apartments

Jacob & Co Apartments is a freehold residential project by Ohana Development in Ghadeer Al tair, Abu Dhabi, developed together with the watch and jewellery house Jacob & Co. The building is under construction, with handover planned for Q2 2028. It will have 331 units across 7 floors.

The Residences C and The Residences J

The residential part consists of two buildings, The Residences C and The Residences J, each 7 floors, set directly on the sand. Jacob & Co. is responsible for the interior and architectural concept and supplies individual pieces, with handover handled by Ohana. The building has a smooth curved form with wide terraces facing the water and greenery, and large windows. A residents' pool with sun loungers connects directly to a private beach.

Apartments and Layouts

Apartments have 1, 2, 3 or 4 bedrooms. One bedroom units start at 99 m² and AED 3108394. Two bedroom units start at 140 m² and AED 5072899. Three bedroom units start at 202 m² and AED 7144243. Four bedroom units start at 591 m² and AED 20618642. The price per m² is 26,030 AED. The service charge is 188.37 AED per m² a year.

Sky Mansions and Penthouses by Design

Double-height Sky Mansions will occupy the roof, the sixth and seventh floors, each planned with its own lift, pool and garden. Penthouses will sit at the edges of the building with 180° sea views and a large mosaicked pool on the terrace. Floor-to-ceiling glass is planned for penthouses and Sky Mansions.

Jacob & Co. Social Club and Lobby

A Jacob & Co. clock will be built into the ceiling of the high atrium lobby, beside a large chandelier. The Social Club Jacob & Co. will bring together a cigar lounge with sea views, a business centre with meeting rooms and a private residents' club. The residents' club will include a watch gallery dedicated to the design of Jacob Arabo.

Spa, Sport and Hotel Service

The spa will include a hammam, sauna, traditional Russian banya and jacuzzi. The gym will have separate zones for personal training, with yoga and pilates studios nearby. A supervised kids' club and a family lounge are planned, along with a partially covered botanical garden with paths and rest areas. Service is planned hotel style: a concierge, apartment cleaning, valet parking, food and groceries ordered through reception with door delivery, and dry cleaning collected from the apartment.

Ownership and Payment Plan

Apartments are sold as freehold, and buyer funds go to an escrow account at Emirates NBD. Booking requires 27% plus a 2% fee. A further 45% is paid in five instalments during construction, and the remaining 30% on handover.
