The Artist Hotel

The Artist Hotel is a four-floor building under construction on Raining Street 1 in the World Islands district of Dubai. The Heart of Europe is the developer, and Kleindienst Group developed and is delivering the project. Handover is scheduled for Q1 2027, with construction reported at 60% complete.

Apartments and sizes

The building will hold 24 fully white studios and 48 rooms and suites, with 21 layouts free in the single building. Guestrooms will measure from 52 to 60 m² (from 560 to 650 sq ft), and suites from 119 to 128 m² (from 1,290 to 1,380 sq ft). Units in the catalogue run from 52.27 m² to 128.33 m². Every room will be finished entirely in white, with soft textures, cool linens and plush furniture.

Prices and payment

Prices start at 1,516,140 AED, and commercial units start at 1,575,308 AED at 26,719 AED per m². The payment plan divides the price into 40% on booking, 40% during construction in two instalments, and 20% on handover. Ownership is freehold.

Art, music and galleries

The house is planned as a living gallery, with a gallery holding the largest curated art collection in the region, working studios and exhibition halls. A music studio with acoustics designed by Denis Johnson of New York will be available to rent for professional recording and improvised jam sessions. Curated art residencies will support emerging authors, and artists, musicians, photographers and painters will be invited from around the world to create and show new work. Gallery boutiques will carry Turkish, Iranian and Persian carpets, avant-garde fashion, pearl pieces, jewellery, sculptures and home objects.

Rooftop and amenities

A rooftop infinity pool is planned, alongside three private gardens and three separate pools with a 360 degree panorama of the island. A Soho House Social Bar will sit on the roof with a view of the Dubai horizon. The gardens will host deep stretching, strength calisthenics and sound practices, with a set menu and sharing plates from local and farm produce. A private pool is part of the amenities.

Raining Street and Snow Plaza

Raining Street will run for one kilometre with a constant temperature of 27 degrees and light rain through the year, and the outdoor Snow Plaza will sit at Centre Plaza on Main Europe. Half of the rooms will look onto the Snow Plaza. The islands run on 100% renewable energy, and The Coral Nursery plans to grow over 100,000 corals a year, with a target of 28 day and night dive sites.
