Lawncrest by Zimaya is a single residential building under construction in Dubai Production City, developed by Zimaya Properties, with handover planned for Q2 2029. It will hold 183 apartments: studios, one bedroom and two bedroom units. Ownership is freehold.

The building and its apartments

The project has one building only: a ground floor, two podium floors and eight residential floors above them. Apartments range from 374 to 1311 sq ft, and each one will have a wide balcony and floor to ceiling windows. Studio layouts start at 34.75 m² and 595,000 AED, one bedroom units at 66.92 m² and 960,000 AED, and two bedroom units at 95.69 m² and 1,395,000 AED. The price per m² is 12,735 AED, and the service charge is 161.46 AED per m² a year.

Layouts and finishes

There will be 69 studios from 374 to 509 sq ft. One bedroom apartments number 36, from 649 to 972 sq ft, with 48 more including a separate storage room, from 755 to 864 sq ft. The two bedroom selection is small: 8 standard units at 1030 to 1031 sq ft, 8 with a storage room at 1096 to 1103 sq ft, and 14 with a maid's room at 1219 to 1311 sq ft. Apartments will be delivered finished, with built in wardrobes in the bedrooms, a kitchen with Teka appliances or an equivalent class, Empolo sanitaryware, and a smart home system.

Amenities in the building

Residents will have a large pool, a separate children's pool and cabanas for shade. Outdoors there will be a dining area by the pool, an open air cinema, a barbecue zone with grills and soft sofas, an outdoor gym and a running track through landscaping. Indoors the building will have a gym with Technogym equipment, a yoga studio, a cinema room, a play room, a spa, a club house and a two storey lobby, served by KONE lifts. Electric car charging will stand on the premises, and there will be a golf course and a walking path.

Payment plans

The project is sold on two payment plans. Under the first, buyers pay 15% on booking, 25% during construction and 60% on handover. Under the second, 15% is due on booking, 25% during construction, 25% on handover, and 35% is paid monthly over three years after handover; the apartment price is higher under this second plan. Buyer funds go to an escrow account held at Mashreq Bank.

Location and surroundings

The building stands at the edge of Dubai Production City, with windows facing the Jumeirah Golf Estates fairways; parks and lakes lie around the house. City Centre Me'aisem is 4 minutes away and Dubai Sports City 8. JVC and Motor City are 12 minutes away, Dubai Investment Park 10, and the JGE metro station 10. JLT is 15 minutes away, Media City and Internet City 20, Business Bay 25. Mall of the Emirates is 20 minutes away, and Kite Beach, Emirates Golf Club and Downtown Dubai with Dubai Mall and Burj Khalifa are 25 minutes away. DXB and Al Maktoum airports are also reachable.
