Richmond District

Richmond District is an under-construction project by Mira Developments in Discovery Gardens, Dubai. The building will rise nine floors and hold 117 apartments. Handover is scheduled for Q1 2029, with prices starting from 981,240 AED.

Apartments and layouts

The project will contain studios from 39.41 m² to 46.38 m², priced from 981,240 AED, and one-bedroom apartments from 78.15 m² to 102.71 m², priced from 1,871,700 AED. Every layout will include a balcony. In the one-bedroom apartments the living and dining area will be separated from the bedroom, and each will have a separate toilet in addition to the bathroom. Two-bedroom apartments will have a living and dining area of 17.70 m², and on floors one to four they will have two balconies.

Interiors by John Richmond

The design of the district was made together with the London fashion house John Richmond, and Marco Casamonti is the project architect. All apartments will be fully furnished by John Richmond, with the interior conceived as part of a single branded concept. Moveable furniture will carry a three-year warranty and built-in items five years.

Facade and podium

The buildings will be dressed in modern mashrabiya: screens that cut sun, reduce heat and shield residents from outside eyes without blocking light. The panels will be movable, so the facade will change its pattern through the day. Below, on a shared podium, there will be water, a waterfall, a gym and a cafe, and the podium will also hold shops, cafes and restaurants.

Courtyard and sport

The courtyard will have three pools and a decorative waterfall. Each pool will have sun loungers and shaded places, and landscaped alleys will connect the buildings with the water and meeting places. On the podium there will be a gym with Technogym equipment and an open-air training area, plus a paddle court, a table tennis table, a quiet yoga zone and a spa. A tennis court is also planned.

Service and ownership

Residents will have access to five-star hotel level service, ordered as needed: a concierge for bookings, a valet for the car, and a butler for personal requests and household matters. Cleaning and room service can be ordered from the building. Apartments will be registered as freehold, and buyer funds will go to an escrow account at Sharjah Islamic Bank. The service charge is 215.28 AED per m² a year.

Payment plan

The plan is 20% on booking, 25% during construction and 5% on handover, with 50% after handover.
